Breakfast: A banana
Lunch: A salad with mixed greens, beets, sliced apple, cucumbers, peppers, and 2 hard boil eggs-with a vinegar and oil dressing. A small soup with beef and mushrooms. A half a piece of bread. Snack: a pear. Dinner: A salad with lettuce, avocado, cucumber and beets with oil and vinegar. A small portion of tomato soup, a vegetarian enchilada. A potion of swiss chard.
2 shots of apple cider vinegar.

I have been following this plan for about 4.5 months. Here it is. I’ve been messing with it a little but mostly it’s been staying the same. Healthy eating and lots of walking. It seems to be working.
No sugary foods- Included on this list: Candy, juice, soft drinks, chocolate, donuts and cake. (Typing this up makes me want to have all of these items) Foods I am going easy on: White flower bread products, fried foods, beer/wine, red meat and ketchup.
Every day Eating: Fruit in the morning, for lunch, fish or chicken with vegetables and salad, for dinner eat reasonably, after dinner a reasonable snack.
Exercise: Walking 5 to 6 times a week about 50 minutes to 75 minutes, usually after dinner. I have been walking about 2 to 3.5 miles per walking session. Averaging about 15 miles of walking a week.
Notes: I am tracking what I eat at the end of the day. (I have been posting this in this blog regularly) I am also tracking my walking sessions and the amount of days I have gone without eating sugary foods. I am weighing myself (mostly) every week. When I eat out and on out social occasions I will not follow the plan except that I will not eat sugary foods and I will try to be reasonable. I am taking about 2 shots a night of a mix of Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar and warm water.
The goal: To lose weight slowly and keep it off. I am hoping to lose 2 to 5 pounds per month.
The results so far: I have lost 20.7 pounds in about 4.5 months. (So down to 223.3)
And finally if anyone has any suggestions or comments please chime in. I am all about improving this plan.

Lunch: A salad with mixed greens, beets, sliced apple, cucumbers, peppers, and shrimp -with a spicy Thai peanut dressing. A half of a small bag of air popped chips. Snack: 2 small cucumbers with Annies Goddess Dressing and 2 pieces of LF cheese. Dinner: A salad with lettuce, avocado, cucumber and beets with oil and vinegar. A small portion of corn with vegan. 2.5 small pieces of whole wheat bread with vegan butter. A LF piece of cheese, 1 table spoons of hummus.
2 shots of apple cider vinegar.

Dinner: A salad with cucumber and corn with oil and vinegar. vegetable dumplings, 2 small pieces of whole wheat bread with vegan butter. A piece of cheese, 2.5 table spoons of hummus.

At 46 my Mom still buys me clothes. Thanks for the L.L. Bean rain jacket. On a rainy night I still walked 2.5 miles.
Rained in during the day. Lunch was a little carby but all in all a pretty ok day…

Lunch: A small piece of pizza, a small piece of whole wheat bread with vegan butter, a salad with mixed greens -with Annie’s Goddess Dressing. Snack: 2 plums and a banana . Dinner: A salad with cucumber and corn with Annie’s Goddess Dressing. Shrimp with peppers, onions and brown rice. Snack: A piece of cheese, a little corn a 1.5 table spoons of hummus.

Dinner: Corn with vegan butter and 3 pieces of cheese, some chickpeas with diced tomatoes and kale, a salad with pickles, mushrooms, mixed greens, -with an oil and vinegar dressing. 2 pieces of LF cheese. Snack an apple a piece of cheese.

Breakfast a banana.Lunch: Grilled fish, a very small portion of chicken and cheese, a very small portion of rice, a salad with carrots, mixed greens, -And with an oil and vinegar dressing. Snack: A 100 calorie bag of pop corn- (Skinny brand) some cantaloupe. Dinner: 3/4 of a whole wheat bagel with vegan butter, a tofu scramble with low sugar ketchup and a piece of cheese, 5 whole rice crackers with hummus, and 2 pieces of LF cheese. 2 shots of apple cider vinegar.
Defense not offense , a fair amount of struggle in my life…work is crazy…a relative is sick and we are helping with care…and some other things….. so I will have to go into defensive mode
So a slimmed down version of my weight loss plan:
So no Sugary foods, 3 meals a day, plus a snack and continue the walking.
My plan is to go back to my normal weight loss routine on Tuesday when things calm down a bit.
Defense not offense , a fair amount of struggle in my life…work is crazy…a relative is sick and we are helping with care…and some other things….. so I will have to go into defensive mode.
I will not be following the rules. The idea is to limit the weight gain or hold steady. Until I can get back on track.
